For some years now I have been working as a practitioner of the healing art of Reiki. Reiki deals with the body's energy system - hence the name of this website and of my practice and business - Body Energetics. In 2009 I reached the level of Reiki Master Practitioner and I can teach and pass on the use of Reiki.

I practise both on the Isle of Wight (using rooms at the Hope Clinic in Ryde)and across the Solent in Southsea and Portsmouth. In Southsea I use rooms at the new Marple Cross Centre in Osborne Road, opposite the Queens Hotel.

I have helped many people with common issues such as:

• long term stress
• depression
• anxiety
• sleeplessness
• emotional problems
• recovery after operations

I have recently been pleased to give regular treatments to members of the Parkinsons Disease Society in Cosham in Portsmouth - both sufferers and their carers - as it can be very helpful in dealing with the stress of this long term condition. I have had so many takers that I have had to split the 2 hours available to me into 8 15 minute sessions.Reiki can work powerfully even with a short treatment

Further news is that I have been working on a new album of music designed especially for Reiki sessions, called 'Reiki Journey'. I hope to finish this soon and will post details of how to buy the album as soon as possible. I have been 'road-testing' tracks in Reiki sessions and am very pleased with clients' reactions!
